Bars 38 to 46

We have an arpeggio sequence. Whenever you see an arpeggio you can subscribe a chord to it. The chords you are playing are Am – G – F and E.

Here’s the sequence:

To practice try simplifying the pattern as follows:

Just the thumb part

Bars 46 to 54

This section combines the descending chords with a melodic pattern:

The challenge here is to maintain a strong rhythm while changing between chord and melody.

Practice the following  rasguedo pattern on muted strings.
