Paco de Lucia is an icon of the flamenco guitar and was instrumental to the development of new flamenco guitar styles. He was a child prodigy having mastered the flamenco guitar by the age of 12. He was one of the first cross-over guitarists collaborating with many musicians from other genres including chick Corea, Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, Eric Clapton and many more. As a flamenco artist he won much praise for his accompaniment of Camarón de la Isla and his Pack De Lucia Sextet which the toured internationally.
Famous pieces include Almoraima, Rio Ancho, Entre Dos Aquas, La Barrosa, Gloria al Nino Riccardo. He famously performed and recored with The Guitar Trio with Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin.
